How does nanoViper work?

 

STEP 1: SPECIFY YOUR TUBING ID

The tubing inner diameter can range from 50µm to 150µm, and works in conjunction with the tip size to determine the optimal flow rate for the PicoChip column

STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR TIP SIZE

The tip size has a great deal of impact on the flow rate of the column. The smaller the tip size, the lower the flow rate.

STEP 3: SELECT YOUR CHROMATOGRAPHY MEDIA

Standrad PicoChips are packed with Reprosil-PUR, but we have a full range of chemistries in-house that can be ordered in the PicoChip format. If you don't find what you need, we can custom-pack PicoChip columns with your supplied material. Contact us for more information.

STEP (4): SELECT YOUR CONNECTION TYPE - NanoViper READY!

PicoChip is now available with a NanoViper-ready connection for the ultimate in easy, robust, and ultra-fast use. The "-NV" at the end of the part number indicates that this PicoChip is NanoViper enabled and ready for use right out of the box. NanoViper-ready starter kits include a nanoViper connection tool. (NanoViper tubing is not included and may be purchased separately from Thermo Fisher)

PicoChip Columns have a packed-bed length of 105 mm.
Substitute the appropriate media code for your desired chemistry where XXXX appears in any part number.

Standard PicoChip (P/N 1PCH7515-105H354-FS25 or -NV)

Standard PicoChip columns are blue and packed with Reprosil C18 3µm 120Å chromatography media with a 75µm ID column and a 15µm tip. This high-performance material provides the separation and analytical power of a longer column, with less back pressure and shorter gradients required.

PicoChips for Infusion

PicoChips for infusion have no chromatography media and are perfect for use in system calibration. PicoChips for infusion are packaged one (1) per box.
Unless otherwise requested, pigtail ID is 25µm, and is 50cm in length
