Tuning and troubleshooting are simple with PicoView® high-resolution imaging. Optimizing distance, voltage, and flow-rate parameters is fast and easy.

Too low
If the applied voltage is slightly low, an unstable spray will form with droplets forming periodically at the tip. we recommend to optimize at 30% gradient.

Too high
If the voltage is too high, multiple jets can form around the tip. Gradually decrease the voltage until a stable spray has formed.

Just right
When the voltage is correct, a stable fine spray will form, and the best quality data given the experimental conditions will be generated.
